WHAT ARE TAXI MARSHALS?
Our Taxi Marshals are Licensed London Taxi Drivers who have gained great experience in managing large groups who require transportation after an event. They are also fully vetted with enhanced CRB Checks.
DO I NEED TAXI MARSHALS FOR MY EVENT?
Your guests have had a great evening and you have put on a wonderful event. Now they have to look for a taxi to get home, don’t spoil the end of a perfect evening by letting your guests look for taxis or a telephone number to get home. Our taxi marshals will ensure taxis are available outside your venue.
HOW WOULD CORPORATE BLACK CABS ENSURE TAXIS ARE READY AND AVAILABLE FOR MY GUESTS AFTER THE EVENT?
Ahead of your event we publicise your event to all London Black Cabs drivers. This will be done via text as well as across social media and other London Black Cab Radio Circuits. During the event, if needed, a taxi marshal will be on the main road hailing empty taxis and directing them to the venue. As part of the service, we can arrange taxi shares which enables the marshals to place up to 5 or 6 passengers in the same taxi, this reduces waiting times and allows the passengers to share the fare that are going in the same direction.
HOW MANY TAXI MARSHALS ARE NEEDED?
This depends are the amount of guests and the location of the venue, every event is totally different, but as a rough guide.
- Up to 350 guests 2/3 Marshals
- 350 to 700 guests 3/4 Marshals
- 700 to 1000 guests 4/5 Marshals
HOW MUCH DOES TAXI MARSHALS COST AND ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES?
The charge is £60 per hour per marshal and a 5% admin fee.
CAN YOU ARRANGE TAXIS FOR STAFF AFTER THE EVENT?
Yes, we can supply taxis to ensure your staff reach home safely and we can ensure staff that live in the same direction are grouped together in a taxi to reduce costs. Also if needed this can be invoiced to the company after the event.
HOW DO WE PAY FOR THIS SERVICE?
You can pay Credit Card or by BACS transfer upon invoice received
